First years are typically eleven to twelve years of age.

We are still deciding, but it seems increasing the age is the more popular choice due to the environment of the game. If this affects your application, we will be more than happy to allow alterations after you apply and are accepted. Thank you for understanding!

Yes. Depending on the birthday, it would be 16-17 for 6th and 17-18 for 7th or 19-20 for 6th and 20-21 for 7th. I hope that makes sense.

The total number of classes should add up to seven* for all years, there was a mistake left in that post when we changed the number. Sorry for the confusion, it'll be changed immediately, thank you for pointing it out!

Yes! Mixed blood would mean the muse has non-human heritage (ie. vampire, werewolf or veela ancestors).

Once all the current holds are in, we'll have a soft opening for threading. However, don't let that deter you from threading if you have things planned. Until then, we'd suggest threading in journals or scening in AIM as we'll likely have a large open thread for people to use. Basically, have fun!

This community is solely for having a relaxed, comfortable environment for people to write and have fun. With that in mind, while we don't think it's truly necessary to explain it, we'll definitely consider offering this as a way for players to write in their characters to attend Hogwarts and be a part of the GPSL.

So, honestly? We agree and it doesn't bother us much either. As long as we all have fun and enjoy ourselves, that is the only thing that matters to us. All that other stuff? Of course it will matter to people here and there, but we only want everyone to have a good time. I hope you don't think I'm saying this in regards to you individually, but I know things have been said elsewhere and I really want to reiterate this point the most.

Lastly, and this is really important. Thank you so much for the suggestion, it means a lot for you to come to us with ideas.

We are compiling a mod post at this moment regarding the response to this along with a lot of new and upcoming things for the community. It has taken a bit, but we thank everyone for their patience!
